What is a Memory Pod?

Where Luna keeps what she remembers about you. The encrypted, cross-device store that makes the relationship real.

The short answer. A Memory Pod is the per-user encrypted memory store that holds everything Luna remembers about you across iOS, Android, Web and macOS. It contains your conversation history, key facts (your name, your projects, your relationships, your preferences), and the embedding vectors used for semantic recall. Memory Pods are designed to be portable (exportable on request), deletable (Luna will forget you on demand), and private (encrypted, no third-party LLM is fed the contents in the hot path).

How cross-device sync works

Your Memory Pod is keyed to your user account, stored server-side encrypted, and pulled by every signed-in Luna client. Start a thought on your phone, walk into the office, and the Mac picks up where the phone left off — because the Pod is the source of truth, not the device.

Privacy and control

Memory Pods are yours. You can export them (JSON), delete them (immediately, no recovery), redact specific memories (so Luna forgets a specific topic without amnesia), and opt out of training (Luna does not train on your data by default). The encryption is at rest and in transit; the access path runs through Heaven's sovereign services, not third parties.

How to use Memory Pods well

Just talk to Luna. She forms memories naturally — there is no "save this" button. Important context (your name, your goals, your projects) is distilled automatically from conversation.

For sensitive topics, you can ask Luna to "forget this conversation" and she will redact it. For project-specific context, you can create persistent companions tied to a single domain (a "writing companion" with its own pod).

Free forever. No "memory tier" upcharge. The Pod that ships with the free product is the one that matters.

Related questions people ask

Where is my Memory Pod stored?

In Heaven Eco Hub's own infrastructure on Google Cloud (GCP project luna-heaven), encrypted at rest and in transit. No third-party LLM provider sees the contents; the memory-service is one of Luna's own deployed services.

Can I export my Memory Pod?

Yes. Settings → Memory → Export will give you a JSON snapshot of what Luna currently remembers about you. You can also export your full conversation history separately.

Can I delete my Memory Pod?

Yes. Settings → Memory → Forget Everything will purge the Pod. This is irreversible and Luna will start the next conversation as a stranger.

Does Luna train on my Memory Pod?

No, not by default. Your conversations are not used to improve the base model. You can opt in to anonymised training if you specifically want to help Luna learn from your patterns; otherwise the Pod is purely for your personal experience.
